[The Showstopper]

Hey, this is really good! It got a little annoying, but there's 99% of electronic music for you lol. Anyways, I'd classify this as some form Electro (not quite in the league of complextro, but close) And it's a really nice track throughout though.
Mind telling me where you got your bass? o.o it's sexy

Hey, thanks for taking the time to review! I agree on the genre verdict; don't think it honestly qualifies as Dance, but wasn't exactly sure how to classify it for the portal. As for the bass, it's actually a patch I made in Reason using the Thor synth, and I can hook you up with it if you have Reason. In the all-too-likely event that you don't, it's basically a saw-square combination (predominantly saw, with two square synths filling in one and two octaves up). Run separately through a LPF (saw and the one-octave-up square, no res necessary) with a filter envelope turning the frequency up from 520 Hz to 15 kHz with an attack of 70 ms and a BPF (both squares, no envelope or res manipulation necessary), then universally through another LPF (frequency set to 20 kHz, used for automation purposes). Then there's a widener and some heavy fuzz distortion, an optional bitcrusher, light EQ and reverb, and some compression.

Good job throughout :) Do you use FL studio by any chance? All though a couple of key factors in the 3.5 rating were:
1.) offsetting intro tempo automation
2.) realizing that you just used FL Keys (I think, sound like at least. Esp. the detune they already put on it to make it 'real') for the piano (and badly, at that :/)
3.) the kick... It was already nicely understated below everything, but then it ducked out. I get a feeling that this isn't the work of you messing up anything with it more than all the other levels were drowning it out (and it feels like you put a limiter on it) so that's what it might be.

And it was short, but at least you weren't like some 'Techno' and just repeat the same bad melody over generic chord progression over arping synth over pads for 4 minutes or anything.

So yeah, good job and all :) (PS, I really quite liked your 'Arman Dragon' track. Should do more if you feel like it)

wow u re right at 100% i use fl studio and i did used fl key for the piano and also i put a limiter :) nice analize ,i also used a sytrus plus in i dont remember the name . and thanks i am happy to hear u liked arman dragon track , well i will may make some songs similar if i can :). see u an other song :) , i will try to fix every porblemes.

Yeah, I'm sorry but it's just not all that... good. I know dubstep is quite the hard genre to try to make and all, so I give you credit for trying. Don't give up or anything just because of me, in fact if anything, this should motivate you to keep trying, if you have the right attitude. Anyways, not my cup of tea, but I've heard so much worse than this on here that at least you deserve something.

It's almost okay, I guess. You'd obviously need to work out everything you wanted to. I don't know, for dubstep it seemed really predictable and unvaried, and the VST's weren't the best either. I do kinda like where you were going with it, though.

It was okay. That's it, I guess. It didn't stand out from anything else, and the instruments weren't the best choice IMO.

I could personally see this as a good liquid DnB song, if pulled of right; The slow intro, then You could blast it into being twice as fast. I think it would feel like a much different song that way, and that's what it felt like it was going to be, so I was almost dissapointed in it. Although, regardless, beautiful song.

[First Dubstep Beat]

Okay, this might sound harsh, but It doesn't feel musical. Like, at all. It didn't sound good, your bass wasn't gritty enough, and your use of the LFO really just overall did not work well. Now, I know that it is your first dubstep attempt, so I decided to give you 2.5 stars for the attempt and effort I'm sure you put in, although my first (real) attempt at dubstep (techstep) sounds a lot better, so it's not really an excuse-I do, however, see that you are quite new to making music, so I'll just pass it off as you have no experiance and don't know your DAW very well.

You did a pretty good job on it, but a lot of places felt really off. Also, it doesn't look like it really required much effort on your part to make it.

Wow, this is really nice :) I think I suck at dubstep xD I probably just need some practice and some tips, but yeah... Good song :)
