I think it all sounds really good, like you know what you're doing lol. Some of it felt a little off, but it is just a rough draft after all, so what can I say.
I just entered into this realm of dubstep, and while my first real attempt 'techstep' isn't very representative of my work, I usually write fairly okay trance/techno/dance/sometimes house music, I would appreciate it if you could check it out, along with some other songs of mine :) Thanks in advance

Thanks for the input, mate. And yeah, I do feel like there was something that needed changed, but like you said, I couldn't figure it out. The kickdrum might overpower the melody a little too much on this song. And thanks mate, I will be sure to check out some more of your work.

some things to note: The vocals didn't sound all that... well. If you sang them, then props to you, newgrounds needs more vocals in it's audio selection, but I just don't think that they sound... good to be honest... I think too much auto tune actually. I'm okay with a little auto tune to fix the pitch of a voice, but to the point where it's just for being... there, it takes a lot of the humanity out even, in some circumstances such as here. Other than that though, overall it's put together fairly well, and I have to give you props for the singing - at least you tried, and if it were a bit cleaner and crisper, the vocals might've actually sounded fine. :)
Bassline: Generic EDM bass (I'd like to see a little bit more go into it) - 3.5
Melody: Followed the vocals, and was overall fairly good. not too unique, but it's okay - 4
vocals: Not clear enough or crisp enough, IMO to much autotune - 2.5 (credit for trying though)
Percussion: It was just right for this. wouldn't change it if I were you: 4
so, overall: fairly generic dance/techno track. Nothing new, but it was pretty good regardless some of the downfalls. I don't know how long you've been making music, or how any of the rest sounds, so I don't know how much I can judge you based on experience, but for an average newgrounds song, this was pretty good. - 3.5 stars :) hope you found some of this to be of use to you :)
I'm no master at dubstep, nor do I listen to it regularly, but this just sounded very, very light, and it wasn't at all sounding like a heavy, deep bass track. There was no build up, no drop, it was just... 'gwaga gwaga gwaga gwagwag' if you understand what I mean. In essence, there was no melody, there was an extreme lack of any sort of bass at all, and it was overall sounding like the same 8 bar phrase being repeated with random noises added in after the initial 'intro sound'. Overall, I have no idea what this is, or if it was a joke or whatever, but IMO, dubstep has a melody, has a heavy heavy wobble bass, extremely annoying yet catchy occasional screeching bass synths, etc, and this... fit non of that. Too dry, repetitive, and what not. I don't know, it's 5 in the morning >,< excuse my repetitiveness if there was too much, I just wanted to get my point across. No hard feelings or anything though, It's your music, and if you like it, my taste shouldn't affect you, but I'm just telling you what the people in general like in dubstep.
I liked it a lot! Not much I'd say you could improve on if anything at all though, so... yeah. good work.

Heh... yeah I noticed that last bit when I uploaded it. I mean I did make patches so that they'd be in the form of a bass, but *didn't* do any tweaks to where they actually sound "bassy."
I think I should do a little *studying* on what makes a good "dubstep drop." You can tell I sorta ran out of ideas by around 3:23.
Anyway, thank you for the feedback, this gives me a sense of direction!
